LEED Energy Modeling, Solar PV Design, and Green Building Consulting.
We’re incredibly proud to be a part of the project team on the redevelopment of St. John’s Terminal where, in addition to serving as MEP design engineer, we also served as sustainability engineer, energy modeler and Solar PV designer: developed the project’s electrification and decarbonization strategy, and supported the project’s achievement of both the ILFI Zero Carbon “Ready” designation and LEED Platinum Certification! As Google’s newest office in New York City and North American headquarters of its Global Business Organization, the building adaptively reimagines the original terminal into a 12-story modern work and collaboration space. The exposed rail beds nod to the site’s history while the sustainable design embraces the future.
