Jack founded RDE, the Energy Engineering and Sustainability group at RDA, after joining the firm’s NYC office in 2013. He is a keen advocate for a greener economy and has focused his career on helping both buildings and organizations to use less energy and become more sustainable.
In addition to his skill at reducing energy use and carbon emissions from commercial buildings, Jack is RDA’s resident expert on Building Performance Standards such as NYC’s Local Law 97. Prior to joining RDA Jack delivered the first LEED Platinum certified Data Center in the UK, helped companies such as Barclays, BT, and BSkyB develop global energy performance programs, and audited the carbon footprints of both the Bank of England and the McLaren Formula 1 Team.
A long-time Snowsports enthusiast, as an undergraduate Jack was awarded Full Colors of the University of Manchester (similar to Varsity Letters) for outstanding athletic achievement. He is also the proud owner of a Ground Source Heat Pump at his home in New York.
